Superior information for Jackass admirers! (And, sadly, some negative information for the individuals who seem on Jackass.) Variety claims that Paramount+ is producing a new Jackass sequence with the creators of the first series in hopes of “bringing even much more preposterous antics straight to Paramount+.” (Meaning the Jackass guys are likely to have to keep on hurting themselves and jeopardizing grievous injuries for the enjoyment of a bunch of creeps who assume it is humorous to see these lousy weirdos repeatedly get smacked by a huge hand when they attempt to walk by way of a doorway.) But also the huge hand gag is generally very humorous and we like it when the Jackass people today harm each individual other!
Paramount+ evidently agrees, since immediately after the box business and streaming results of Jackass Permanently, it is making a lot more Jackass. The massive problem is what that in fact suggests, considering that chief Johnny Knoxville has recently indicated that he’s not particularly interested in putting himself by way of this form of torture anymore, but that doesn’t preclude him from masterminding a new technology of Jackass stunts that he does not have to do himself—perhaps with some of the new jackasses who appeared in Eternally, like Sean “Poopies” McInerney, Zach Holmes, and Rachel Wolfson, who was the very first feminine member of the solid.
Or probably it’ll just be Knoxville producing Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Wee Man, and Preston Lacy go via some extra awful shit for his amusement. That would also be enjoyable! Or it’s possible Knoxville could flip this into a stealth reboot of Wildboyz and just enable Pontius and Steve-O do what ever they want… not that Pontius and Steve-O at any time feel like they are in threat of not having to do whichever they want. So it actually is great for absolutely everyone concerned that humanity’s bloodlust for Jackass stunts has never ever absent away. (We would watch at the very least 1 full episode about the huge hand gag.)
