East Texas ladies will be represented at an future gala devoted to a former Tyler ISD educator.
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority’s Gamma Omicron Omega Chapter will host its Promising Pearls Fashionetta Gala at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 23 at the UT Ornelas Action Middle, 3402 Old Omen Rd. in Tyler.
The theme is “What a Fantastic World”: An Night of Excellence and Grace. This event is focused to previous Golden Member and Educator of Kansas Town ISD and Tyler ISD, the late Mary Franklin-Isabell, in recognition of her legacy and determination to the group’s annual scholarship method and group assistance venture initiatives.
Considering that its inception 50 many years ago, the scholarship method has regarded girls and younger women of all ages of powerful character who are in pursuit of educational excellence and have interaction in group services.
All cash collected from the occasion will be donated to chapter’s yearly scholarship fund and gifted to deserving superior faculty seniors in the East Texas region.
“Promising Pearls,” ages 4 to 18 from East Texas spot will be introduced, like:
Fashionetta contestants in the Pass up Long run category, ages 4-6:
- Skip Mila Giselle Kemp, the daughter of Meshayla and M.T. Kemp III of Tyler
- Miss Kacey Elizabeth Mims, the daughter of Jamie and Wille C. Mims of Tyler
Fashionetta contestants in the Miss out on Petite classification, ages 7-10:
- Overlook McKinley Leanne Mims, the daughter of Jamie and Willie Mims of Tyler
- Miss Paris Sade Mims, the daughter of Brittany Mims and Mr. Cedric Whitaker of Tyler
Fashionetta contestant in the Miss out on Junior category, ages 11-13:
- Miss Aidyn Paige Warren, the daughter of Suzette and Lee Farr of Tyler.
Fashionetta contestant in the Miss out on Fashionetta group, ages 14-17:
- Pass up Vonyelle Breonna De’Vold Burnley is the daughter of Sharon and Roderick Burnley.
The host and presentation narrator will be news persona Kayla Lyons.
Tickets to go to in particular person or watch the hybrid presentation are $30 and offered by means of EventBrite. The event is minimal to just 100 friends.
