What did you sense was lacking in the purse place that led you to launch Esin Akan?
“When I started off doing the job for Anya Hindmarch, I appeared for a bag in my new boss’s array to impress her. I needed a bag acceptable for work, gymnasium, and an evening out. None of the bags suited my needs for a weekday. A day begun at the health and fitness center, continued at the place of work, and finished with my girlfriends at a cocktail bar in Central London. Most luggage I found in the industry were also tiny or way too huge, far too functional but not aesthetically pleasing, brand-focused but not essentially substantial excellent, and also high priced. I imagined gals deserved much better — a light bag that accommodates day-to-day necessities in an arranged way that appears to be like cool and exceptional and adapts to various occasions. A superior-good quality bag without the need of the designer bag price tag tag. A bag created all around the lifestyle of an city woman, but not only in trends. That is how the seeds of my own purse line and brand name had been planted.”
